Nokia Saying Good Bye to Symbian OS

Yes, Nokia one of the Biggest Mobile Company is now saying good bye to its old mobile OS Symbian. Nokia has announced that the 808 Pureview was the Last new device Running on Symbian. These was some time when Symbian was the biggest mobile OS and Most Popular Operating system but the time has changes now IOS, Android, Windows etc are on top of the List.

According to Nokia Q4 2012 it has sold 2.2 million Symbian OS which is half as many as the Lumia. Symbian was a milti-brand proposition from Nokia, Ericsson, Motorola and Psion and was used in 1998. Nokia tool it under full control in 2008.

Symbian was the Biggest Operating system in its starting days until Apple overtaken it, but still Nokia keep using it. Now Nokia is working die hard on Lumia series and Now using Windows OS.

Nokia Confirms that 808 PureView was its Last Phone containing symbian OS in it, Nokia Now has started Using windows OS, Launched Phones like Nokia Lumia 920, 820, 900, 800 etc. Let's See how far Nokia can go with it.
