Our app of the week is Steampunk Race 3D.There are lots of racing games on Android and Apple platform but Steampunk Race 3D is unique.The best part of this game is its fantastic cars.All the cars are steam driven and superb in looks.The cars are having weapon carrying capacity to destroy your opponents which I really liked.
In this game,you race against your opponents and collect coins depending upon your position after the race and how many opponents you destroy.You can use the coins to customize your car and weapons.There are over 10 cars and 30 weapons to choose from,each unique in its own way.
You'll need to choose and customize your vehicle like the 4-Wheel Armored Classic, Heavy Tank Tall Boy, Agile Delivery, 3-Wheel Scarab, Dozenberg, Drag Racer, Zeppelin, Rough Truckin', Brutal Wagon, or the 6-Wheel LG04-Ohzma; each with unique features and capabilities. You'll also need weapons and elemental powers because, let's face it: playing fair is just no fun. Teleport ahead of your enemies, engage force fields, blast your opponents energy with an EMP wave, turn the world upside down or create a gravity bubble with a Gravity Vortex, or deploy our most devastating weapons like missiles, chain guns, high-speed mines and tar, poison fields, fireballs, drone blimp-bombers, satellite ray beams, chainsaws, and vortex technology just to name a few.
Poor controls- What I didn't like about the game is its poor physics.It will take you sometime to get used to this game.The controls are really bad when you first start playing the games.But after playing for a while you will get used to this.Also,sometimes weapons don't work even if you execute them perfectly.This can be frustrating.
Nice Graphics-The graphics are good for a game of this kind.For a 30MB game,the developers has done a great job.
Gameplay- Gameplay is smooth and the game doesn't lag.However,as I told you earlier there are some glitches and most probably they will come at the most crucial time.
Final Verdict-The game is a perfect time killer for this weekend especially if you are more into racing games.The game is fun to play but its poor physics can ruin the enjoyment sometimes.You will love the customizations.Still the game is new and scope for improvement is there.The game is available for both iOS and AppStore.
